Who we are
TARROS SUD is TARROS S.p.A.' sole Agent for Southern Italy.
TARROS S.p.A. was established in Cagliari in 1963 as a development of "Grendi since 1828"; one of the oldest italian shipping operator. Tarros is a private Company belonging to the Musso' family.
TARROS S.p.A.' aim was to design and build RO-RO containerships to be used on the route Genova/Sardinia: this project originated the "Tarros' class"
ships, which combined both RO-RO and LO-LO technologies; moreover it was the first Company to build ISO standard containers in Italy.
Thanks to above long-lasting tradition and to the initiative of its young staff Tarros Sud, as Agent of Tarros S.p.A., offers to the clients an excellent container transport service to all Mediterranean countries as well as the following services:
- multi-modal transport (ADR included);
- import/export custom operations in all Southern Italy ports, Sicily included;
- wharehousing;
- stuffing/un-stuffing/lashing in port;
- formalities for IMO containers.
Our wide and consolidated agency network at ports of destination allows us to carefully follow the shipment also in the port of discharge.
The Company strategies resulted in a strong market share and in a reliable financial situation.
